Dicamba 2024

After the EPA ruling on February 14, 2024, retailers can legally sell and distribute the dicamba products Engenia, Tavium, and XtendiMax again.

In compliance with the ruling, AFS must complete all delivery and invoicing paperwork by May 13, 2024. After that date, AFS cannot sell, distribute, or accept returns of any dicamba products. While your product must be picked up or delivered in May, the application deadline remains the same. The deadline for most of the AFS area is June 12, 2024, but it differs for other geographic locations. Check the application deadline for the field location.

Training Options

All in-person training options with AFS have been completed for 2024. Utilize one of the online training options available from BASF, Bayer, and Syngenta.

The Engenia label requires all applicators to be trained before applying the product. The online training is dated and time-stamped to assist applicators with the recordkeeping associated with meeting this requirement.

Some states have additional restrictions and requirements. Check with your state pesticide regulatory agency for additional training and application requirements or restrictions. See details.

Before applying dicamba formulations approved for use in the Roundup Ready® Xtend Crop System, take our self-paced online training or guided webinar training.
